Open since May 1990, American Computer Museum is the world’s oldest information age history museum. Travel through thousands of years of computing history, and view the intriguing story behind mechanical calculators, slide rules, typewriters, office machines, and Apollo Spacecraft items. A room-sized mainframe computer is also displayed, along with an industrial robot, computer history, and thousands of other artifacts. The renowned museum has attracted visitors from around the world while earning recognition in the New Yorker Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, C-Span, and other national publications. An ideal family destination, the fascinating museum requires no computer experience to enjoy.
